صور| قصة حرب الفلبين الدامية مع تجارة المخدرات

وعد رئيس الفلبين رودريجو دوتيرتي، الذي باشر مهامه في شهر مايو الماضي، المواطنين بالقضاء علي تجارة المخدرات غير المشروعة خلال 6 أشهر، وأسفرت الحرب بحسب ما نشرته صحيفة أطلانتيك الأمريكية يوم أمس عن 2000 قتيل حتي الآن رغم انطلاقها منذ  8 أسابيع فقط.

وقال مدير شرطة الفلبين أمام مجلس الشيوخ في مانيلا يونيو/ تموز الماضي إن الحرب التي أعلنها الرئيس منذ تسلمه مقاليد الحكم أسفرت عن مقتل نحو 1800 شخص، وهو عدد يفوق التوقعات بكثير.

ووفقا لتقرير من وكالة رويترز، ” هناك قرابة الـ 900 حالة قتل ما بين تجار المخدرات والمتعاطين لقوا مصرعهم في عمليات التطهير ما بين من 1 يوليو – 20 أغسطس … في المتوسط 20 شخصا يوميا على أيدي المكلفين بإنفاذ القوانين، وجماعات الأمن، وغيرها من الجهات الفاعلة في تلك الحرب.

واكتسبت حرب الفلبين على المخدرات بعضا من التأييد الشعبي، لكن عملية التطهير تلك صدمت الجماعات المدافعة عن حقوق الإنسان ودفعت الولايات المتحدة، الحليف المقرب من مانيلا، للتعبير عن قلقها. ووصفت جماعات حقوق الإنسان والأمم المتحدة عمليات القتل تلك قائلة إنها تمت  “خارج نطاق القضاء”، فيما وصفت الأمم المتحدة  الحملة بأنها جريمة بموجب القانون الدولي.

ويوم أمس خلال ساعات من عودة عمال فلبينين مهاجرين للسعودية، حذر رودريجو دوتيرتي أكثر من 100 عامل،، من التعاطي للمخدرات. وقال دوتيرتي للعمال العائدين، بعد رحلة طيران استغرقت 10 ساعات تقريبا من الدمام بالسعودية “تجنبوا المخدرات بأي ثمن لأنها قد تكلفكم حياتكم.”
